Bounthavivanh Mixap, or more often known as Vanh, has joined the Inclusion Project, Oxfam Mekong Regional Water Governance Program as Capacity Building and Networking Coordinator in mid June 2016 where gender and women’s leadership in water governance is the heart of our work.
\n \nVanh is living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and has worked with a number of organisations throughout the South East Asia region to address water challenges in Southeast Asia. Vanh is also the founder of her own social endeavor, ‘Everyone Matters’ – promoting and creating an enabling environment where each individual can grow and build on their strengths and talents without being hindered by social norms and values that certain professions are better than others. She is passionate about cross-generational learning and cross-sector collaboration.
\n \nVanh is collaborating with many organisations to fulfill these passions, including International RiverFoundation to promote emerging water professionals program, IWCAN- AWP Kini initiative, as well as TransformationFirst.Asia working closely with a water leadership coach to empower emerging leaders in Asia. All these endeavors help Vanh in better supporting Oxfam’s partners in strengthening their networks and capacity for a just and fair share of water resources, accountabilities and responsibilities.
