It also allows Oxfam to foster common interest and collaborate with other development actors. Situation Analysis
Oxfam led on a collaborative analysis by foresting communities across seven provinces (451 forestry sites in total), along with Government Agencies, ADB, World Bank and the EU, highlighting the strategic importance of a sustainable management of forest resource to tackle the persistent risk of over-logging.
Policy Improvement
Oxfam and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs collaborated to provide a landmark analysis ‘Fair-Share-for-Women, (2014-2018)’, plus evident-based recommendations for Law makers and planners responding to gender inequality. The analysis addresses the situation and trends confronting women in public decision-making and politics in Cambodia.
Innovation
Oxfam launched BlocRice with Blockchain technology to help farmers in the organic rice value chain to improve their living standard by increasing the transparency and traceability of international supply chains.
